Qwetch, design, stainless steel reusable bottles
At Qwetch’s origin, is a story of solid and long-lasting friendship. The Qwetch founder and his family traveled to southern China to visit the head of the "Couleurs de Chine" (Colors of China) humanitarian association. While visiting China, the founder of Qwetch found that the reputation of Chinese tea drinkers was by no means blown out of proportions. In China, like everywhere in Asia, hydration is an important part of life and a true lifestyle.Tea is drunk with whole leaves, all day and everywhere. The Chinese used enameled bottles, with a glass bulb inside. Setting aside their immense fragility, they do not preserve hot drinks warm very long.
The founder of Qwetch thought of an alternative compatible for all, as well as for Westerners, in nomad mode, concerned with palstic free and zero waste. In accordance with respect for Asian traditions, the founder of Qwetch designed insulated bottles equipped with two types of filters: a short for a long brew and a long for a short brew. Our choices for a zero waste life and homemade makes it possible to adapt Asian traditions to our lifestyles, sometimes urban, often in a hurry and always insufficiently hydrated. Qwetch has chosen clean and healthy materials, without plastic or aluminum, made of stainless steel or glass, the products are also free of interior varnish. Your drinks will stay warm for 7 hours and cool for upto 6 hours. With very simple upkeep, stainless steel straws will meet your daily needs. Qwetch produces its products in directly managed workshops, selected for their investment in the social field. Because of the personal commitment of Qwetch's founder, choosing these products contributes to the support of two French associations in China which Qwetch contributes to in funding:
- "Couleurs de Chine" (Colors of China) which works on educating girls from the MIAO ethnic minorities.
- "Génération Cobayes" (Guinea Pig Generations) which works on informing and teaching the younger generations about their behaviour and the impacts on their lives and nature.
