Takaterra means: "which comes from the Earth" and represents the basis of the creation of the eponymous site. The founder, Justyna, wanted a return to her values. As open air sports practitioner, she has always been amazed by what nature has always been able to offer. Waterfalls, dizzying mountains, rustic beaches, endless plains, majestic forests, the planet has always been a source of calm and energy for her. Elegance, refinement and balance are for the founder real synonyms of nature and she wanted through Takaterra.com to return to this need of respecting that surrounding balance. Horrified by the accumulation of waste and plastic littering every corner of the planet and assuming that she was not alone to notice, she wanted to be able to offer everyone the opportunity to reduce their use of plastic and their waste generation. Based on her own experience of items and brands that allowed her to have drastically reduced waste, the plastic free e-shop Takaterra.com was born!
Each item and brand have been carefully chosen according to their quality, design, creation, packaging and origin of manufacture. Zero waste and plastic free must be within everyone's reach and match the elegance it represents. Doing everything to avoid producing waste is noble and respectful and the Takaterra offer matches that.
A word from Justyna, the founder
« The creation of this plastic free e-shop was for me a response to a long-standing personal desire and an ethical need. Anxious to want to leave a better and cleaner world for my children and future generations, I realized that my desire was shared by many. However, it was difficult for them to take this first step or they felt that this transition was too difficult on a daily basis. They wanted to be able to find products that suited their needs without changing their habits that much.
As a mother of three, I know how difficult it is to change your daily life, how complicated it is to get out of your comfort zone and how easy it is to postpone it until tomorrow. I thought this site for all those who just want to do better and diminish, cleaner and greener, prettier and more economical, and all of that easily.
All the articles and kits offered on Takaterra.com, I use them personally or I have used them with great pleasure. I hope I can make life easier for people every day while helping the planet to become healthier again.
