GARY is made up of only five natural ingredients, because the more a composition is restricted, the better it is for you and for our environment. This is why the solid dish soap recipe is mainly based on coconut oil and baking soda. And its odour? It is a natural essential oil of sweet orange, a real sweet scent that matches perfectly.
The idea of creating a solid dish soap bar originated in 2018. The impetus was the June issue of National Geographic magazine. Its cover read: a planet or plastic? It was then that they decided to do something for the Earth and for themselves. Long research led them to Asia, especially India and Sri Lanka. It was there that they saw that dishes could be washed with a solid soap made from coconut oil and baking soda. Therefore, from September 2018, they started to work on creating a suitable recipe for cube dish soap. And that's how GARY was born!
GARY didn't just stop at solid dish washing detergent, they also added natural sponges to their selection of solid dish soaps. They are made in Poland, by hand, from organic cotton and jute.
